HVAC Circuit Board Types, Operation, and Testing!

Electrical circuit boards are the control hub for an entire HVAC system. It is important to identify these and other components within the system so that you can understand the system's operation in order to troubleshoot problems.

The type of circuit board is matched with the type of blower motor so a circuit board controlling a PSC motor will differ from one controlling an ECM constant torque blower motor. Likewise, a circuit board controlling an ECM constant torque blower motor will differ from one controlling a ECM variable speed fan motor.
